Innovation and Transformation Manager en Ford Motor Company
Senior leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, management and technical backgrounds and over 15 years’ experience in business development, purchasing, supplier onboarding and partnership development.
Holds the position of Innovation and Transformation Manager at FORD Valencia since September 2022, responsible for defining and implementing the innovation strategy for the site. The scope includes the leadership and integration of the different innovation actions within FORD Valencia, the coordination with the Ford of Europe and Ford Global teams, as well as the development of a collaborative approach with external partners.
From June 2014 to Sept 2022, he was Head of North Africa Purchasing & Fasteners Purchasing Manager at FORD Motor, responsible for:
• development of the FORD supply base in the region, including researching and optimizing logistics to/from Europe,
• establishing net new FORD office in Morocco, staffed with 6 employees,
• reinventing the cross-functional processes to align and include new suppliers into the company value chain.
• European sourcing of the fasteners content for Ford global production.
This role requires a strategic vision, working at VP level in complex matrix organizations and creating a shared vision of collaboration between the company and the suppliers across geographies in Europe, Africa, Latin America and the US. He sets the vision and roadmap for new technology and supplier development.
His work lead to more than tripling the sourcing in the region, being repeatedly recognized as Top Performer at Ford. He has a strong focus on team development.
Initially a Management Consultant for IBM, evolved into a Key Account Manager for an international Tier1 automotive supplier (SRG Global). In this role, he lead the revenue growth in a mature industry of 25% over 2 years.
In management positions since 2005, he was the Managing Director, from 2005 to 2010, of a +100 people company, where he increased profit margin from 4% to 13%.
From 2010 to 2014, he managed an automotive R&D business unit, where he successfully applied Change Management to expand the innovation activity to European scope and to new industries. Developed partnerships with global OEMs in automotive and aeronautic industries.
