Green Marketing and Governance – International perspectives in the University of Algarve
CEEI Valencia as MER project partner participates in this seminar

The University of Algarve, through CRIA and MER Project, promotes a seminar on "Governance and Marketing: Policies and Practices for Sustainability".
The seminar will be held in the Auditorium Teresa Gamito (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Algarve, Campus Gambelas) next March 31, 14:30 to 19:00.
The seminar aims to discuss the Green Marketing to the development and promotion of the territories and to present successful cases of cooperation in R & D linking University and Industries, in the area of Energy and Sustainability.
The seminar will include international speakers, including Professor Alfredo Valentino's LUISS University, Rome, and leading researchers at the University of Algarve.

About the MER Project:
The European Project MER is based on the value that green marketing and sustainable management of industrial areas could be a key factor to attract investment to Europe. MER aims to identify tools on a long term basis for sustainable and responsible economic development of these areas. Through a "network of networks", share experiences, ideas, opportunities, best practices and perspectives on energy, environment and green marketing tools to contribute also to improving the competitiveness and attractiveness in the context of sustainable growth in line with the Europe 2020 Strategy.
The project is co-funded by European funds through the MED Capitalization Programme. This project involved 11 entities from 8 European countries: Italy, Province of Bologna, Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) and INFORMEST; France, Chamber of Commerce and Industry Nice Cote D’Azur; Malta, Malta Intelligent Energy Management Agency (MIEMA); Greece, Anatoliki-Development Agency of Eastern Thessaloniki’s Local Authorities; Portugal, University of Algarve; Slovenia, Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia; Cyprus, Cyprus Energy Agency; and Spain, Valencia Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FVMP) and CEEI Valencia.
